if your wondering about the tape...it helps me keep the seperate pieces iin their subframes. Plus i can see the basic shape of the car in the beginning. I havent started then engine yet so thats why its not pictured.

Idea
Replica of Pearl Harbor one. It would be a bit boring maybe. But making of a exact replica is quite a challenge.

no custom body work as of yet...im not advanced enough to do that..plus i dont see anything that needs changing. I am however shaving the entire thing and leaving the side windows off. Its got a top too but for now is screwed. Its kinda mangled where i cut it off the tree for some reason and the top doesnt fit quite right. In not really intrested in a replica right now. Im thinking of going with a deep candy purple for it with a white interior.

Re: 40 Ford Street Rod

Looks good, I like the paint job *sarcasm*. The tape really gives it that elegant feel *sarcasm*.

I cant wait to see the rest of this build though!

i was low on paint and primer for my Civic. I rememberd a hobby shop that was like 10 min from my house. I drove around for a half hour looking for it but finally found it. I got it there for 14 bucks. They had a pretty good selection too. Supplies were pretty low though. Only Testors paint
