The access door (behind the drivers door) of my kid's extended cab is jammed. The top is not latched, the bottom won't let loose. Latch handle does nothing. Any suggestions on how to get it open?

Re: Jammed access door
can you get a screwdriver in by the latch?

Re: Jammed access door
Actually can lift slightly with a corwbar, but can't see exactly where the latch is. I've never really paid\ attention to its position.

Re: Jammed access door
cause thats how i got my tailgate unstuck...try to pry the latch open because then you would able to see what the problem is hopefully with the door open.

Re: Jammed access door
Pull the handle out of the door. There will be 2 rods on it.Pull 1 of the rods to unlatch the top and the other to unlatch the bottom. You will need a new handle to fix the problem as you will see, cause the plastic handles break.Just fixed mine and it only cost about $17.00,if you do it yourself.
