Gto??
Whats up
Just wondering if anyone knows the specs on a car (hp, 1/4 times etc.) on a car that I thought was a Dodge Stealth and had "GTO" on the back of it?? I dont know whether to call my race yesterday an easy win or a good kill!! thanks!!

well its not a real GTO.. just a name they stuck on to a v-8 grand am look alike to boost sales.. anyway.
i'm not sure of the 1/4mile but i know they claim 350hp. i beleve they are in the 13s.

When I first heard that GM was going to bring back the GTO I got a bit excited. Seeing it was a big let down. Basically it's a Grand Prix with a Camaro engine. Specs 350 HP, high 13's in the 1/4. Not bad for a factory ride but it has no style. Maybe next year they'll get it right after everyone complains and sales suck.

not to mention that it sounds like CRAP. i mean CRAP. CRAP sounds better.
and i heard they spent 20,000,000 to get it to sound "right". i would have done it for 10 bucks and a pizza and would have sounded like a REAL GTO.

No, it was not the new pontiac... it was a dodge stealth, just didnt know what the "gto" stood for on the back of it........

It was a 3000GT with Japanese badges then, or a retarded Stealth owner. In Japan, they were called GTO's.
