i've heard that parts for the 3 different b16's work for all of them......i don't think he's correct but my friend said the vortech s/c would work for the 2nd gen b16......because i really want a 3rd gen b16 just so i could get the vortech someday but my friend said it would work for the 2nd gen too.....that would save me a whole lot of money but i don't know.....some honda guru help please!!!!!

Iv split this into a new thread becuase it is a totaly irelevent question to the thread it was in.
All the differnt versions of the B16a whether they be from Japan, Europe or the US share the same basic design, and almost all the parts are totaly interchangable. (as far as I know the only parts that you can have problems with are the OBD II distrubters onto an OBD or OBD I engine. However parts for the Dizzy like rotor and cap are interchangable) SO you can use the S/C kit on any version of the B16a no matter where it is from.

Unless you have my early B16A dizzy in which case you have to modify the damn cap
![]() The JRSC and Vortech will fit all B16As - wheter it will fit in your engine bay is another thing. Apparently 4G Civics have a hassle fitting it in there as it's a tight fit already. |
