Re: Civic question..

it was an honest question.. im not trying to make you guys look bad, it just makes me laugh when a kid thinks a civic with an exhaust system can beat anything on the road.. the fast and the furious got everyone on the wrong track.. you guys have your preferences and i have mine, i was just seriously wondering..

Re: Civic question..

Well, I can't answer it for you, because I pretty uch think they are as annoying, if not more so since I drive a Civic, as you do. But there's really no reason other than trying to stir up some bullshit to post a thread like this in a Honda board.

Re: Civic question..

well i asked the camaro guys, but they were just as wondering as i was.. we figured more or less that someone of your honda stature could help.. its like asking a hairdresser about frogs.. they dont have the info.. so you go where you can get it. for me that was here.. in this case though im going to just let it go, i give up trying to understand your logic.. im returning to my place in the camaro forum

Re: Civic question..

Short Answer: There are Ricers and there are Racers. Same thing with neons, cavaliers, etc; there's always people who try to look fast without being fast, whether they drive imports or domestics.

Re: Civic question..

Basically, I would like to say that 1) yes I admit my 4-banger is slow and it only puts about 127 hp out of a 1.6L engine 2) yes I will try not to brag about how fast my slow car is and 3) yes I know that my engine will more-than-likely outlast your engine in the long run because they usually go 500k miles and get approximately 38 mpg when gas is about $2.00 per gallon, and yours is not usually known to do that :P hehe, camaro's are nice though. And please, stop talking about "The Riced & The Ridiculous"... most of us on this forum usually don't praise that movie, most of us think it's just as ridiculous as you do. The only time a person with a civic or some other "rice burner" has the right to brag about his/her car is when they get an engine swap and put some work into it . That's my two cents. Keep the stereotypes on the race track.

Re: Civic question..

Like I said, they annoying to me as much as anyone, but being that this is the car I drive when I come home to the states...

The car in my sig is my car, the one above is the family car back home. Yea the Camaro is faster, has a lot more torque, but my car out handles it, and is competitive up to around 80, because unlike the Camaro, it is light and doesn't need a ton of power to get it moving. Both are fun though, but I like my Honda more.
