Driver's side mirror replacement?
Some glorious citizen had the decency to back out of his parking spot in a drunken stupor last night, knocking off my driver's side mirror and leaving tire marks all over the door.
I've got two weeks before we drive cross-country to move to Denver. Can anyone tell me how to replace this piece, and roughly how much time and money I should expect to spend? Thank you! I must also note, I followed a diffferent thread's instructions on how to remedy the wet floorboard problem, and found it to work like a champ. Now, when I turn on the A/C, it squeals like a pig for a moment, but resolves itself. I'm sure that'll have to be replaced, too.

Re: Driver's side mirror replacement?
Try some salvage yards for a mirror...it's possible you could find one for a little of nothing. Might have to have it painted to match your car, though, but even if you order an OEM mirror from a dealership, you may still have to have it painted. I got lucky once with a headlight for a '97 GTP...I managed to break all the headlight mounts on the right side (don't ask, long story) and I got the entire headlight and parking light assembly for $175, which was a steal, considering just the headlight, without the corner lamps, was $143 new.
