Completed....68 AMT-Revell Camaro

Well guys, I know it's taken a while, but my combination Amt-Revell 68 Camaro is ready to rock the streets.....

Got the bumpers chromed (as close as I could get) today, made my custom number plate and gave her all a bit of a polish.

Just realised, still have to add the side mirror...

She's sportin' "dumped" pipes, just prior to the diff, so she ought to have a pretty meaty note to it.

It's been a fun build, well worth the effort I feel, concidering the poor quality of the original Amt chassis.....

Hope you like it as much as I, so

Here's a couple of teasers, outdoor tomorrow hopefully...
cheers stump

And the under-side showing the "dumped" pipes and Perrys Resin diff..

Thanks for lookin'....
See it all here..68 Build-up

Thanks for posting such beauties here, I really love it , especially the front grille, dunno what makes me so attracted to it tho, is it just a regular blackwash?

and hey, all in all a perfect job!

Gorgeous classic bow-tie..
Very nice color and details.
I've always thought the '68 looked nicer than the '69.
Did you paint a hood? I'd like to see a pic with it on
Top job

Thanks so much guys....

Olivier,.... flying finn,....yeah, the grill has a photo-etch centre section added to it, makes it look pretty life-like.

CADguy,...yeah, forgot to put it on in this final shoot. Weather is lookin' okay for some outdoor pics today.....I'll try to remember it. LOL...
