Where is the engine computer?

I have a '97 Cavalier and need to replace the engine computer. I was told that it is under the dash on the driver's side, but all I see is the ABS one. On the passenger side there is the air conditioning one. I cannot find the engine computer anywhere. Where is it?

it is located under the front passanger side of the car. you'll have to remove the plastic pieces in front of the wheels and under the bumper. there should be 2-3 bolts holding it in.
