Re: 96 drivers window and vent no work

Hi mongo
Don't know what year you are talking here, but on my van I have had both of those problems and had it be the switches. They are copper and get corroded. I have disassembled the vent window switches and cleaned the contacts with an emery board (nail file) and had them work indefinitely aftewards.
Regarding the fuses: on the '96 the vent windows are on their own fuse, and the left/right front windows on their own individual fuses. So your drivers window could be fuse related, but the vent windows should both be kaput if their fuse were blown.
Good luck
