Crank Shaft Pulley Bolt

My friend has an '88 Buick LeSabre and we are currently trying to remove the crankshaft sensor. But in order to do that, we have to remove the crankshaft pulley. We had the pulley locked in place, but we couldn't for the life of us get the bolt lose. Is that bolt perhaps reverse threaded? Or does anyone have any pointers? Thanks.

Heat the middle of the bolt to burn the locktite and gun it. It is a regular tread bold.
Good Luck.

I got it

I got it. We got pissed off and left it, then the next morning we bought an impact socket and it came right off with the impact. Made us feel stupid but oh well. Key word: IMPACT SOCKET!

Yeah, there are just two bolts holding the sensor bracket on the '88, but it wouldn't slip off unless you pulled the bracket straight out just far enough, and the pulley just happened to be in the way. But every car has its quirks.
