I appreciate the amount of effort put into it, but that's the best thing I can say about it.

I know my opinion doesn't mean shit, but it looks to me like you turned a nice little civic into an expensive piece of crap.

Wow now that was kinda harsh...But I am sure that adding more trophies to the collection will not be a problem.

Care to elaborate?.........

Would be curious to see what you drive with such a comment about mine.....

LMAO @ Nice little Civic...

BTW.....The car was nothing more than a hull at the time of this project.

Near future add ons...... carbon front bumper, supercharger, zex wet system.

What I drive really doesn't matter because if I tell you, no matter what it is you'll turn it into a "my car vs your car" debate, and that wasn't hte point of this thread. you asked for opinions, I gave mine. I'm sure other people disagree with me.

elaborate? the kit is over the top, the engine is a nasty purple color and I hate those doors. The suspension is pretty cool though and I like the rims.

I'm going to go completely against all of my beliefs and say, you need some chrome rims with a huge lip on there. You can't really fit a rim with a huge lip on there without some crazy offset, but since your car seems to be pretty much all show, chrome rims would really set it off.

Here is a photo of the front bumper that is going on the car. Should have it in a few days.

Hope it not some bogus crap and a good quality piece.

Updates to follow......

i have to agree with him. i just dont see the point of some of the things you did. like multiple colour engine? why? i undersnad maybe painting the engine one colour (not my style but who cares it not my car). just a little too far. agian like he said, its not my car nor money so do what you like best. i hope you do well at your shows. i do like the CF fenders, get rid of those ugly Z3 fenders

Re: Okay got some body panels in the fitiment stage

I can only assume that you dont show any cars, I have shown various cars since I could own 1. The attention to detail and cleanliness is the key. There are not any autozone bolt on fast and furious trinkets. If you look closely at the photos you will notice even the majority of the bolts used to put the engine and tranny together are stainless. Just another detail that I think shows the time and effort that I have put into this car. There is a logical reason to painting the different colors. In the event of a leak it is much easier to tell where it is coming from. But not using that as a defense. I want a motor that when the hood is opened it catches your eye no matter where you look...As for all the areas of the car. This is a project as well as a hobby. This is by no means my only form of transportation. As you seen in the pics I have 5 cars to choose from. The z3 fenders were trashed....Fit like shit. The VIS fenders fit better than stock.

fair enough defense. no i havent been much into shows. i am about performance first, show last. although on topic of show cars i have seen some show cars that are show winners at events like HOT IMPORT NIGHTS, etc and by no means are their engine bay multiple colours, infact i would drive their cars with pride in a second. a good friend of mine drives a celica that wins Top celica in almost every show he goes into, and other then the fact its an auto, its likely the cleanest car i have seen. my point really is, i think it looks tacky and almost over the top, where i think you could have made it a cleaner look with just one colour, etc. again this is just my opinion and it doesnt count for shit but its an opinion. i do like the fact that you put a good motor in and didnt just go all show, you do have plans for a performance veh. anyways good luck like i said.

Re: Okay got some body panels in the fitiment stage

The car will not be a trailer queen. It will be driven just like any other car I drive on a day to day basis. But when you look at this car you will be able to see that every aspect of this car was removed, checked, cleaned, detailed and replaced. I bet Fujimo and Horihito did not give any of the millions of hondas sold this kind of treatement. And as for over the top.......That makes me smile....Exactly what I wanted to hear.
As for performance......The car will have more than it share of performance goodies...
Cam pulleys, Supercharger, Laptop with complete mapping system, Zex wet system, the usual ignition mods. Nothing will be overlooked...Trying to find some Brembo 4 or 6 piston caliper that bolt into a stock location. If not I may adapt some dual calipers on the rear.....I dont think I will have any trouble passing anything on the highways..lol..
