Exclamation 99 Passat Transmission issue

All,
I have a 99 Passat which has a problem shifting between 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. Sometimes it feels like the transmission should be laying on the ground. I just got it back from a Transmission place that had it for three weeks and had no luck in rebuilding it. It still has the problem. I have seen some articles that claim it might be in the computer but I was wondering if anyone out there knows what the problem is or has seen the problem.

Thanks,
Chris

Re: 99 Passat Transmission issue

Was the shop capable to connect to the transmission computer? If not, have someone with a VW scanner or simulator look at it.
