front seal?

what is the front seal? is it the same as the front main seal? where is it located on the engine? this is for my brothers 200sx ga engine. but im sure it wont be much difference. the check engine light has been on for a while a mechanic said it was the oil pan gasket and front seal leaking. would that trigger the Check Engine light in a car? is it cause of oil pressure?

no, oil leaks will not turn on the ck engine light. have a shop pull the trouble code out by using a scanner to see what is going on.
