1988 silverado electrical problem

the fuel pump on my truck isn't getting any fire to it.i have checked the pump fuse and there isn't fire there either.i used a test light.where should i look next? i need to track this problem down,thanks.

i also have a 88 silverado..it has electrical problems so bad it makes it jump and stutter even at idle. i havent found out exactly what the problem is yet but ive replaced the fuel pump 2 times in the past 5 yrs, checked the wiring harness, put in a new computer..which flashes codes like crazy but we cant catch what they are coz its flashing too many at once. we're planning on buying a 85 to switch out the engines but i really dont want to lose my 350 for a 305. have any suggestions or advice as to what the problem might be or how to fix it??
