98 626 engine swap

Does anyone know what I can put in my 98 626 as far as an engine swap goes. I'm looking for maximum power here. A V8 if possible. Does anyone know? Please help!

you could swap in a v6 out of a 98 plus but you will have to swap everything over

Um, suggestion - take the motor youve got now, rip it out.. put in a jap spec version - trust me, It satisfys enough.. then take the motor you have sitting around, put a dual stage turbo on it.. along with some new timing, cam gears fly wheel , perhaps a manual tranny..

thanks for the advice. I'd already decided that i'm going to drop in a 200hp JDM V6. Since I've already got a manual tranny then I can throw on a new intake and exhaust and maybe a high performance chip and get more then enough power.
