MAP Problems Turbo Teg

So my buddy Brian with the turbo integra is havin some trouble. His problems are as follows:

1) His car upon starting would rev to 2000rpm then stall
2) He removed the MAP (still connected by wires to the harness and the throttle body, but not plugged in), and the car ran smoothly wihtout stalling
3) He connected a friend's MAP (from a civic si, not a gsr), and the car ran, but not entirely smoothly (it ran more smoothly reading ambient air).
4) He thinks it is the fuel pump, because he says it is making a weird noise
5) He also has oil bubbling out of the silly little breather valve that sticks out of the valve cover of integras.

Anyone have any advice on these symptoms?

Re: MAP Problems Turbo Teg

Sorry for the ambiguity...he's running 4 psi, no fuel management, no work done on the motor, and it is a B20 with a gsr head.
