Hey guys, Im looking to buy a 1992-4 nissan maxima and Im wondering what size wheels does it have stock? and if I get 17 inch rims, would that speed up my acceleration?? What if I get 18inch rims??? How much does a stock maxima tire weigh??

Re: Bigger rims, Bigger Acceleration???

Bigger rims won't help acceleration...unless they are much lighter.

Re: Bigger rims, Bigger Acceleration???

If anything, they'll slow you down due to heavier weight. Why do you think I'm still running 15" rims? It sure as hell isn't for show....if I wanted shwo rims, I'd have gotten MM Evos.

Re: Bigger rims, Bigger Acceleration???

My Car doesn't seem any slower with the Modas. Then again, I've never been to the track so I'm not really sure. It doesn't Feel any slower though.
