how to romove 97 civic door handle?

I'm running into problems removing my passenger side door handle. I have the interior door panel removed and can get to the handle but after removing some parts I still can't get the thing to budge. Any help?

try tapping with a hammer on the inside. if you were able to get the driver side off, and you removed all the same stuff from the passenger side, it may just be stuck a bit

Is the door handle still attached to the door panel?

^^ haha thats a good thing to check.

make sure you did the following:
-Remove door panel
-Remove lock/key assembly... there is a pin on the bottom section(like the pin on the door handle portion)
-Take off the 2 bolts on the handle
-Zip tie or remove the "lock cable"
-Pull out the handle
-Unscrew the "opener cable"
