Fuel Injector Leaks

I just started smelling gas from under my engine and I noticed that one of my injectors is leaking.

My question is how hard is it to take the Fuel rail off of a 4.0L. I have used tools before and do most of my work.

I know i have to take the two fuel lines off and de pressurize the system, the take the four bolts that hold the rail on. Or should I take the truck to a mechanic. He will charge me about 50$ to do it. But since its not that much work and the work doesn't look that hard I was wondering what you all think.

Since I replace that injector i can go ahead and re seal the old injectors as well?

Re: Fuel Injector Leaks

I had some problems with leaky fuel injectors. Four of them began to leak at the same time. They aren't all that hard to work on. Get o-ring kits for the others, just for safety's sake. Take it one step at a time. The hardest part, as I recall, was getting the fuel rail back over the new o-rings. A little oil on the new o-rings will make things easier.
