Does it have to be a kill or something that just shocked you?

My most shocking moment was keeping up with a Viper on the street. We were neck and neck for a good way and his engine was screaming... so I think he was trying but can't be 100% sure.

Other most shocking moment... disaster-wise... was when I was coming off of a steep hill just cruisin'.... being cool... driving safe (which is not how I normally drive 99% of the time) when all of a sudden this old lady pulls out infront of me, and instead of just downshifting I stamp the brakes, unload my rear tires and spin off the hill. Luckily I didn't hit anything and I controlled the spin.

Guess all that road racing and instruction has paid off...

I remember my first race. My friend had a 94 civic ex with header, intake, exhaust, and new clutch. I had gotten my 92' se-r about 2 months earlier. I tell him to race me, and he tells me that he would flat out whoop my ass.

So I tell him to race me, and that weekend we meet at an industrial park. There is also an accord ex, and another friends early 90's dual cam corolla. I beat my friends civic by about a car length, and i I also beat the other two. from then on it's been nissan love.

I can't say I've had any surprising moments because I haven't done hardly anything to it. I'll just have to wait and see.

Re: your greatest most unexpected achievement

heh...first race

it was me vs. a POS early 90's eclipse. don't have the specifics on it other than the fact it looked and ran like shit and i HIGHLY doubt it was the turboed version.

anyways, i'm driving at the same pace as traffic which is roughly 70, this guy is trying to go 85. whenever i see this, i try to do everything in my power to piss the guy driving too fast off, so i would never let him cut me off so he could get around somebody else.

anyways, when traffic finally clears, there's about 1/2 mile to the next cars and that's where it cuts from 3 to 2 lanes. so we both floor it and i hit 95 and i'm pulling on him. this is before i put the header and cat back on my car (93 Corolla) so 95 is about the best it would do. anyways, 95 and i'm pulling on him and i can hear his engine revving as high as mine. by the time we hit traffic, i had maybe 1/2 car length on him.

best part is, there's an exit ramp and thru the whole race, i'm in the left lane, he's in the right. there's two cars driving side by side about 70. so obviously i slow down because i have nowhere to go, but this guy goes flying onto the exit ramp at 95, hits the grass and misses hitting the guy in the right lane going 70 by maybe 3 feet.

i wouldn't call it a ricer flyby just for the fact that there was nothing rice about the car...it just shoulda been in the junkyard.

anyways, that was probably the funnest race story so far

Greatest accomplishment:

I took an ever so slightly tighter then 90 degree corner at 100miles an hour in my car and didn't spin out, slid, roll over or anything.

Greatest accomplishment kill wise:

Destroyed a 5.0L Mustang. (Buddy couldn't drive)

Re: Re: your greatest most unexpected achievement

mine wasnt a kill but it was unexpected very unexpected, i was driving on a local major road making boost and i happen to let off on the gass my by-pass sounds and i beging to gear down for some reason (think i was lookin at a hott girl) i didnt notice this rx-7 next to me.. it was a 93 rx-7 kitted down with a c-west air kit, c/f hood and gt spec spoiler, big fmic, and 3' hks hiper exhaust, nice flip color paint, form what i heard form people who know him his rx-7 is a 11's rx.. big t-78 and all supporting mods.. so i happen to get his attention.. so the traffic is clear and i look over to him big mistake.. he revs a little letting me hear is nice b.o.v. so i scared b/c i know im way out of leauge.. so i dont know wat got into me but i reved back.. so he preceds to step on it so do i... o0o man i never seen a car pull soo hard and quick, i only got up to 50 and decided it was pointless, he was atlest 5 cars ahead of me within the spands of 6-7seconds... i never seen a car move so quick and efforless, all im seeing and hearing is the phissh and this nice rear end going futher and futher away..
i decided to go home and park the car up that day..

Funniest one. I was in my 02 Eclipse GT, 5spd, raced an 03 Tiburon. Couple months later, the kid in the Tib brings his car into the dealership with his 2nd smoked clutch in 11k miles and wanted it warrantied, claiming he doesn't race or dog his car. He ended up paying for the clutch.

Couple good moments on the track. Beat the IRP track champion at Super Chevy Show in 2002. I ended up making it to the final 5 in Super Pro before the starter went out when I went to start the car to go into the water box.

Ran my best time ever earlier this month, 9.09 1/4 mile. No it's not street legal. www.agbulletracing.com
