Convertable Top

I Have A Crysler Lebarron Convertable And Need To Replace The Top And Pump And Motor Unit I Have A New Pump On Order And Am Waiting For It To Arrive Before I Order The Top I Have Swatches On The WaY FOR The Top Color, I Want To Replace The Top But Not The Rear Window Cheaper That Way How Hard Is The Top Replacement Going To Be???

It's not that hard actually. When you remove the top, you can cut out the back window with a knife or blade. Then rip off the remaining convertable material around the window and pop it in the new convertible top.

which year do u have?? is it one of the years that has the issue with the top tearing on the sides where the hinges move (just behind the rear window) cause if u do have one of those years get a top from a newer year that dosnt have that problem (they kan be interchanged im not sure how much work it is though) but my mother had it done and hasnt had a tear in the top sence

sorry i dont have the specifics but my mom has an 89 and got a top from a ummm i think 95 but im not sure so dont quote me...
