Sounds like it's flooding out. Give her a nice tune-up, and a new o2 sensor.

Re: runs like crap if i rev it up

flooding out i dont think so . it feels like a missing cylinder it wont clear out for quite awhile probably about 5 miles gets very sluggish too like its running on 2 cylnders. not a big deal its only done it about 3 times in the last year but its kinda annoying

Well, if the plugs get wet, that's flooding out. If it clears up after a few miles, they're burning dry. A cylinder either works, or it doesn't. It could also be leaning out. When you rev it up, it could dry up the fuel system, and lose fuel pressure. A lot of people buy larger fuel rails, and external pressure regulators on turbo cars to fix this issue. If you know anyone with an air/fuel ratio gauge, see if they'll hook it up so you can see if it's running rich/lean. Also, does your distributor have a vacuum operated retard on it? If so, try removing the vacuum line from it, plug the line so you don't get a vacuum leak, and try it again. It could be retarding the timing, and getting stuck.
