Re: '00 gt toggle switch?!

looks to be factory, verry small switch labled on and off. It is upside down under and to the left of the steering column...

Could have something to do with the factory alarm system...I know that the fleet of GMC work trucks we had also had the toggle switch in the same location......the only button I know of under the dash is yellow and thats a re-set button for the low tire pressure light.......~Larry~

Re: '00 gt toggle switch?!

Sure sounds like the toggle switch to disable a remote starter and the valet button for an alarm. Is the toggle chrome with a black off and red on?

Re: '00 gt toggle switch?!

thats the switch to turn on the "secret camera". gm had an option called the voyuer option which was an option for people who liked to have sex in the car and have it video taped. its a more popular option in the vans and suvs but it also came in sports car like gps. i'm suprised nobody has talked about this before.

Re: '00 gt toggle switch?!

That switch could be anything...sounds like the switch my friend had on his Grand Am for his neon underglow kit.
