JDM b16a sir2

I got a 94 honda civic dx and I am swapping out my d15b7 and putting in a JDM b16a Sir2 I don't know what car it came out of from Japan, but I think it is a Del Sol because I got a p30 ECU.. Anyways my question is will the vtec work after I plug in the b16a Sir2 engine harness into my stock wiring. It should right because I have the right ECU unless my stock harness is missing a few important wires...If anyone knows please help me out....

Re: JDM b16a sir2

unless you are changing the wiring harness from inside the cabin too, then no your vtec will not work unless you run 4 other wires from the motor to the ecu.
