4 cyl. mx3

Hey, i'm looking at a 94 mx3 4cyl. I love the looks of them, but i'm not sure about the power. I don't want to do an engine swap, as i'm going to be slightly broke. That and trying to find an engine to swap in pg would be a bitch. So is it possible to race a mx3 with the stock engine (plus mods of course)

Re: 4 cyl. mx3

a 4 cyl? ://// not really. Not without an engine swap, or without some big $$$ into a turbo/supercharger. I mean, you COULD race it... but if you plan on winning thats a no-go.

My suggestion is go for the 6 cyl... why not???

lol if you still want a I-4 model, which I don't recomend... make sure you get the DOHC model, it puts out around 100hp or so.. but I presonally like V-6's better sound and performance.. the V-6 model puts out 130hp, it's good for outrunnin the intown civics... lol

Yep...I have to agree with lone_night_fox. The V6 versions are much better. They are pretty quick little cars. Mine is still stock under the hood, and I have beat crap loads of civics, accords, altimas (not the new ones). Plus, from what i've heard, they're easy to mod. Don't know from personal experience though

Re: 4 cyl. mx3

No use modding a K8 really, there's not much you can do besides headers, exhaust, intake and a few little upgrades.. you may as well drop the KLZE in it instead of mucking around with the bolt-ons
