98 Sunfire - Where's the block resistor?

I have a four cyl Sunfire (98'). Where can I fine the resistor block. My fan only works in the two high speeds and this is the only thing that I can think of that could be a problem. Is it something else? Where can I find the resistor to replace it?

Re: 98 Sunfire - Where's the block resistor?

Look under the dash next to the fan. That is usually where gm locates it. This is a common problem with GM Cars especially after a few years of use. The resistor costs about $20 at the GM Dealer. When you pick it up you can ask where it is located and they will usually have a schematic available on their computer to show you the exact location. It is not difficult to change it just takes a little time. If you have a mechanic do it for you it will take them about a half hour.
