I have a 95 5spd cavi.I was wondering why when I disconnect the door chime under the dash, all the lights and the stereo shut off in my car.Is there any way to shut it off without this problem?I really hate those and they are really annoying!I also wanted to know how to install a cutoff switch for the interior dome light since the dimmer for the dash light wont do that.Is there any way to leave the sensor (that checks if the door is open) pressed down so the car thinks the door is closed and both the dome light and the door chime stay off?
