Remote starter
I am trying to install a factory remote start in my 2004 Thunderbird.
I can not find where they hid the reciever for the remote door opener? |

Call your Ford dealer and ask the parts guy, or a service advisor.
Sorry to throw that answer out...i don't remember where that piece is.

I STRONGLY suggest not doing this yourself unless you are really comfortable with vehicle electronics. One wrong wire and you can blow the REM or just about anything else. I also caution you for using the FORD OEM add-on piece. If you must use it, buy the retail version, it is much cheaper. The maker of it is Code Alarm so you should be able to find people that sell it in your area or on the net. If you need more vehicle info, you might try www.bulldogsecurity.com and see what it says but PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK ALL WIRING. Some stuff on their site is wrong at times or there are better ways of doing it than what they state. Oh, make sure to get the Securelock bypass from your dealer too.
