Battery....stone dead

I went to my car yesterday morning, went to open the car with my keyless entry and it wouldnt unlock. So I was just like, damn, I need a new battery for my keyless entry. I go to start the car and there is nothing, no lights come on or anything. Later on that day I jumped it, and about 4 hours after that the car was still working. Today I am going to change my battery, just incase of it going dead again. Has this ever happened to any of you guys?

Yes, mine did that. I had a few tell tail signs like sluggish starting.
But it pretty much went over night. Once I jumped it, it would never hold a charge after that. I bought one from shucks for $50 bucks. You have to get creative to vent it though...

It hapened to me once but it was just a dirty radio antenna, it had not fully retracted and overnight drained the battery.

Re: Battery....stone dead

The vent tube is different for the new batteries. You can go to the dealer and get a different vent tube for a few dollars that fits it perfect.
