Re: 87 Lancer ES Headliner fix . . . .

Just buy headliner material, spray adhesive and a razor blade. Remove the headliner and backing board from the car, remove the sagging material and whats left of the foam backing on the backing board.
Lay the replacement material down, and get a good idea of how it will fit. fold half of it over. Apply adhesive to the clean backing board, and to the new fabric backing, then carefully "roll" the headliner back over the adhesive. smooth it out (you only have a minute or two before it sets) and do the other half the same way. Don't cut anything until you have the headliner adhered to the backing board. use the razor blade to trim the edges up and reinstall.
Sometimes you can fold the new material over the sides instead of cutting, but don't use the adhesive on the very edge of the backing board. Use the adhesive only on the front and/or back. (sometimes the adhesive will destroy the edge of styrofaom backing boards)
Careful you dont cut visor and dome light holes too big, or it'll look sloppy.

These instructions are actually on the can of adhesive, the headliner fabric rolls, and in the kits you can get at most auto parts stores, like autozone and Pep Boys, Advance Auto, etc... even some speed shops sell them.
