fujimi fc3s id rep

hey, remember me? proly not... heres sum background
i started this kit, and due to my chobo'ness, i f*d it up from the start... the primer went on unbalanced and overwet..... leaving me with a hell of a big sanding job... then i used a knife to re-accentuate the panel lines...

my paint job turned out ok... considering

then i did panel lines... those were horrible mess, went EVERYWHERe, had to get this chemical to remove it

THEN, i clearcoated... which was really stupid, as i learned, the acrylic runs if sprayed over with clear...

luckily i didn't clear over decals,as that could ahve been a disaster too...

during build, these problems arose:
one wheel column thingy (the thing that the wheel is connected to) snapped off, so i had to make my own, so now one wheel turns alot, (but still stays on)

the steering column peice i lost, so i carved myself a new one.

forgot to wash and prime peices, so paint cracked alot...

there was wierd thing at back of car, so had to chop that off

anyway, enuf comentary here is the work
*edit:
seems this board doesn't suport angelfire... so just right click, go properties, and goto the link.

comments and/or criticism welcome.

Re: fujimi fc3s id rep

don't know why it didn't work yesterday but today it does... good work so far maybe the panel lines are a bit to dark, grey might have been better...but thats just my opinion

Re: fujimi fc3s id rep

grey panel lines.... never thought about that...

panel lines are dark coz clearcoat went over them and made them run, thus thicker than they should be.
