Need help getting alternator out of '91 maxima

i've been having problems with my startup, so im going to take out the alternator and battery to have them checked out. i just need help getting it out. is there a website with a step by step? how hard is it? or could someone here give me a step by step.. thanks..

you did not say what kind of problem
you can have battery and altinator checked in car,
v6 altenator pain in ass do not want to take out if you don't have to
may also be starter

i posted my problem earlier and no one replied... and i did a search and it seems a lot of people have the same problem. so i've narrowed it down to either: alternator, starter, plugs, or wires.... i'll see if i can find that post somewhere. thanks.
