Headers !!!!

Hey guys , Me again.

Question - I want the crappy peice of junk over weight exhaust manifolds off my camaro , They suck. Not only do they weigh a lot they don't increase performance for they're size and weight. Just limit it. SO the question is... With being able to keep my camaro emissions legal , What headers should I get within a 400$ max proce range ?

Thanks for info in advance =D

Re: Headers !!!!

i got the edelbrock, couldnt be happier, cept for one thing, you cant change the spark plugs, i need to email edelbrock and ask about this. ill post a solution once i figure one out or edelbrock tells me about the special tool they have and dont sell with the header kit.

Re: Headers !!!!

lol, no i mean quite literaly, with the Edelbrock headers, you CANT change the plugs, you have to remove the pipes to get the plugs off. cuz you cant get a wrench on the plugs, the primary pipes go right overtop of them, and you cant get a socket on them, crows foot wont work, and standard sockets wont go on over the plug end. *sigh* im gonna have to make a tool for this too haha.

Re: Headers !!!!

Yeah i have a set of headers i took off this 350 IROC i sell em to u for like 100 bucks, if they would work i dont know, and im pretty sure u have to get a better prom because it might effect the computer, and they are not smog legal as there are no AIR tube things for it just o2 sensor fittings. And im still unsure as to what the brand is.Ill get some pics for u when i get my digital cam back.

Everything in the car is 305 ( stock motor setup ) for the most part except the 350.Have to make some adjustments but everything is snug fit and emissions legal so I just want to keep the car emissions legal.

Re: Headers !!!!

Re: Headers !!!!

i cannot stress enough how much you should not use pacesetter. i just got my headers to stop leaking last week and i put them on in december. they are poorly thought out, poorly manufactured, come with crappy gaskets, and nothing in the way of hardware or instructions (not that any of us use them). the instructions were actually hand drawn and only half of the drawing got zeroxed. pacesetter is not worth the time you're gonna spend cutting and grinding to get the damn things to just go on, and then you have to get them to work...
