engine block help

so i tore down the engine block that i recently bought everything looks great except on the two rear cylinders at the bottom the are chipped when it threw a rod is this fixable if not its no big deal i didnt pay for the block really just traded all my stock stereo equip
but anyways ill try and get pictures and post em its all the way at the bottom on both just chipped a little bit i dunno if it is fixable

you can get new sleaves but it's a bitch to do..just get a new short block for like 600 bucks.

as long as the chips are below your oil rings on the pistons you should be ok. If not then have your machine shop reslieve the block. The best price down here is like 80 bucks a hole. But two sleeves and boring them to match the rest shouldn't be all that much.

ok i believe that they are below the rings i thought it would be ok too ill try and find a machine shop to do it for a decent price
