What are you reading?

Since we don't have a book forum, I thought I would start this.

I am currently reading The Oddyssy here at home, and Fighter Boys at work.

Anybody read anything good lately?

Re: What are you reading?

Ken Follett - Pillars of the earth

Very good book, but taking a damn long time to read. It's about medieval England. Bl00dy good, no matter what your preferred genre. After that it's back to car mags and p0rn.

Re: What are you reading?

Nothing other than my Maxim and car mags at the moment...

The Odyssey is actually quite good. I read it not too long ago either...Want to eventually read The Illiad.

Re: What are you reading?

The Odyssey and The Iliad, unabridged, are two hard bastards of books to read.

Currently meant to be reading Dune Messiah, but I haven't touched it in a while.

Robert A. Heinlen (sp?), "Expanded Universe"

A short-story collection... not too terribly good.

Re: What are you reading?

A storm of Swaords, book three of A Song of Ice and Fire. By George R.R. Martin.

Rather awsome fantasy series with a very strong political bent to it.
Its amazingly complete, the appendix of charhters and thier families is 5 pages long.
