90-93 Timing Belt, Tranny Help

i own a 91 accord AT

i notice that my timing belt is kind of noisy...its not terrible but you can definately hear it above the sound of the engine, its the noisiest when first started on a morning

also...when sitting in park and shifting into drive, the car has a slight jerk. same thing when driving. when i reach 3000rpm and the car shifts into second, you can feel the car shifting....i drove a friends 92 LX and didnt notice that harsh of a jerk

what are some things i can do...im a dummy at cars but was interested in maybe changing the tranny fluid? help me out please thanks

Well if the timing belt has 60k on it, replace it. I am assuming you have an automatic, as far as the tranny, depending on your mileage and the last time you had it flushed, I would recommend getting it flushed and putting in new tranny fluid.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

if you don't know be safe and get it done do the waterpump while your in there that can make noise if worn to if its not the accessory belts themselves might as well change those while their off
