Pics of Remington Thunderbird (Nascar)

Here are pics of the only Nascar kit in my collection. I built it in less than two weeks! I actually showed this to the driver of the car at an event at our church and had him autograph the base that it was on.

I've built 2 of them for friends and done a NASCAR Truck.
People dont believe the amount of work you can put into one of those kits.

Not me. I'd rather build a WRC, Touring car (japan, german, british, etc) or an open wheeled car (F1, CART).

Looks to be a great paint finish, and a superb job! It's great to have another gifted modeller here!
They seem big on Nascar here in Oz. One shop I visited had a whole shelf of them!
I have yet to find a Tamiya stockist though!

Here is the last Stock Car I built, Rusty Wallace's 1994 MGD Thunderbird, built in 1997

Yes, I did just grab it from the shelf. Yes, it's dusty. Yes, it did better and took more wins than Rusty's real car that year!! (LOL)

Hmm, I thought you did some weathering effect there. Just finished a race type look.
