time to fix steering-got pulled over

I was out last saturday in our 66 mustang, I was about to turn left to go to where a lot of us hang out and the light turned yellow and i was going to try to make it but stopped at the last minute(i know, 60 seconds is a long time to deside to stop, jk) Well im glad i did cause a cop pulled up behind me so i was glad i waited and i thought all was good. So the light turned green and then his lights went on so i turned and pulled into a parking lot-right across from where some of my friends were-(they heard it all on thier scanner and were laughing> Anyway i couldnt figure out why i got pulled over and if i got a ticket my dad be pissed-a lawyer and jv judge- and my lisence would be taken away by my parrents for a year-well to shorten this up he thought i was drunk cause i was drifting on the road-easily relized i wasnt-we talked about the new seals for the power steering, he said "nice car" and that was it-i was happy needles to say-then pulled over to my friends like 50 feet away and all was good-srry this was so long but if u read it then congrats!-now i know why its important to fix my steering. p.s. he was a pretty cool cop

ya the rag joint in my notch is fucked. when i drove it i was always all over the place. you sure it's not that and not power steering seals?

call flaming river man... they can hook you up with an uber power rack and pump for your application. i think they have a power rack system ready for the fox platform by now....

Yes, check the rag joint. Also, make SURE your car is aligned well. Its often very hard to find a shop who can align these old cars, I know, because after redoing the front suspension and steering on my '69 I took it to get it aligned, and now its barely driveable. It pulls like crazy and jumps at the slightest bump in the road. Its a challenge just to keep it going straight.
