Dynoflash on EVO, and smoked some bonehead

Well I just reinstalled my dynoflashed ECU. The car actually pulls up top, whereas stock once you hit 6000 rpms it would fall on its face. After washing the car (It had 3 days worth of bird turd on it), I went on my way to gas my baby up. I get off the freeway (The short trek home), and some bonehead is literally a few inches from my bumper. He was driving a newer generation Saturn. I thought, no big deal, he will just move to the other lane when there is an opening in the other lane. There was an opening and he was still inches from my bumper. I mashed the pedal and went from 2nd to 3rd. I could tell he was trying to follow, because the other cars were WAY behind us. The saturn could do little to maintain distance. I had about 2 buslengths on him. He turned off the road immediately at the next street. I think I embarrassed him.

oh man...the same thing happend to except this time me and my bro killed him with my dad's Tundra V8! seriously, i beginning to hate those wannabe racers. After it turned we looked at the back of the saturn and it had at least a tunnel piping exhaust, that thing was HUGE

Well the good news is that saturn slc (is that right??) has replaced the camry and accord as the most stolen cars in the united states! Which means we'll see a lot less of them on the road

Re: Dynoflash on EVO, and smoked some bonehead

I'd say 248-250 awhp. I am very pessimistic with my estimates. Stock i'd say it had about 225 awhp. The catback is suppose to be good for 8-10 awhp, K&N is good for 4 awhp, and the dynoflash is good for about 10 awhp as well. I'm not as worried about the numbers as I am about the drag slip. If I pull a low 13 sec. pass at Speedway I will be happy. That track is mighty slippery, even more so now that it rained.

Well done! I love people that do that when they don't know what they're doing.

I love that line!

Oh.. darn.. I thought Dynoflash entailed a dyno... hehe.. oops.

And dude, you're worried about the track being slippery when you have AWD?

actually the dynflash guy admits that the best tune you can only get via personal dynotunning, however from what i hear even his mail tunes are very good despite the more conservative settings.

so ls1 is Al as good as they say he is? Is your car now holding boost till redline too or did he just fix the rich mixture?

Re: Dynoflash on EVO, and smoked some bonehead

I'm confused. ... you're boasting about devasting a Saturn with a dynoflashed EVO??

You're a bully. Pick on someone your own size

Re: Dynoflash on EVO, and smoked some bonehead

The car appears to be holding boost to redline, and it definitely isn't running as rich. I've noticed that the car runs cooler too. I am surprised at how much I can hear the turbo spooling. BTW I am using conservative estimates for my Evo. I think 248-250awhp is what my car is kicking out. Heck some Evo's dyno as high as 240awhp.
