Is the bottom end the same from evo to 4cly eclipse?

If the evo bottom end is not the same, how does anyone use the turbo from this car on an eclipse, and the head?

Even though the bottom end is not the same, Mitsu uses the same bolt pattern. If you want to know why, you would have to contact Mitsu's engineers to find out.

It looks like someone is still reeling from having his ass handed to him when he least expected it. And I don't see what is lol about what johnnybgay said anyway, it sounds more like you only know mitsu's and nothing else. now that's lol.

Re: Is the bottom end the same from evo to 4cly eclipse?

Like you handed me my ass. Please. Step off your little soapbox and think about what you told me. That an ECU, which is electrical and operates off 12V, spools a turbo, which is mechanical and operates off exhaust gases, incredibly fast.

Until you can show me proof and not tell me to search cause you "saw" it somewhere, you are a dumbass and shall remain so in my book.

PM sent By 01RSguded: "I have been studying forced induction for a long time now, and when I heard of this electrical device when added to the turbo and your cars comp. to make the turbo spool right away, I didn't believe it either, then I did research trying to find everything I could to prove it wrong. Well guess what, it is true, there is a computer that links the engine and the turbo together just how a supercharger works except we all know that a turbo puts out more power than a super but a super gives more instant power. Now with the new turbo addition, turbos will kill supers and become what everyone wants. So I do plenty of F.I. research. thank you."

If you really studied F.I., you would not say such a blanket statement as it is no where NEAR the truth. Get your head out of your ass and take a look around.

Let's look at it from another angle. Should you have studied F.I., you would know that F.I. is a much better power added than an all motor build up. you can simply not beat a turbo car when compared to a all motor car, when comparable money has been spent.

You sound like a 16 y/o kid who knows nothing about cars.

I have yet to see a dyno sheet, track slip, pics, anything proving your individual claims either. If you had done all this stuff, you would be visiting the other Club 3G's and making all sorts of posts. But I guess you really are just all talk.

And FYI to everyone else, I tried to be civil with him, and he still makes brazen, semi-insulting remarks. I never insulted him or called him a name until this point.

Re: Is the bottom end the same from evo to 4cly eclipse?

I don't know if you got the website I left for you to go to where they are testing it and you can see for yourself so I don't look like a 16 year old who knows nothing about cars, I am a lot older than 16 first of all, second of all, I know cars and F.I. And I never said this ECU produces exhuast, I said, it is a piggy back ecu that doesn't make you wait for power as long as a turbo without this ecu does. You are the one who is putting words out there I never said. So I will give you the website one more time, www.cybernations.com and when you get there you will see that they are only testing it on Acura and Honda RSXs, Sis. When they are done testing those cars they will move on making it for the rest of the car world. And if you didn't bother to open your little mind to going to a Honda forum or a car forum other than what you know about then I guess that will speak for itself. You sound like a bitter old man anyway, who is pissed because you are probably one of those dorks who thought buying an eclipse was going to make you look cool but realized they suck and now you look like a fag.

Re: Is the bottom end the same from evo to 4cly eclipse?

Sure that's why i bought one. Realize that I went all through the cybernation site and found nothing that said they are building an ECU that spools turbo's. I did see their Gaurdian system, which is very interesting, but could not find alot of documentation to prove to me that it spools turbo's. I did see that it is a standalone system which protects the engine though. Impressive sounding system.
