new engine time!

okay heres whats up..... i have a 92 ealge talon (non-turbo), the syncros in the tranny are starting to go so it makes for a tuff ride every now and then. So i was planning on getting a new tranny. When looking for a new transmission i foud out that they are a tad on the expensive side... so this got me thinking maybe i will jsut buy a front end clip of a 92 eagle talon non-turbo because the clips come with a transmission, and they are only alittle more then a new tranny would be..... but then it got me thinking some more.... maybe i will jsut buy a front end clip of a 92 eagle talon with turbo, it will run me about 500-600 more $ then the regular eagle engine.... any ideas/tips on what i should do just get back to me thanks.....

Re: new engine time!

interesting approach, never heard of anybody doing it before but it should work. to make it run you'll also need a turbo wiring harness and computer. also make sure to get the front end aligned at a high quality shop because it can cause all kinds of problems if its not exactly straight. you might also try posting this on the mitsubishi eclipse board cuz there are more people there.
