Question 1500 vs. 2500

Aside from towing capabilities......what are the differences between the 1500 and 2500 Suburbans? Does the 2500 have a beefier suspension, etc.? I am looking to buy a used suburban and would like to know the difference. I will be driving on very rough terrain on a regular basis and just wanted to know if I should be looking for a 2500 for that kind of driving.

Thanks!!!!!

Re: 1500 vs. 2500

2500 is beefier. Frame, suspension and brakes even though they are short lived. 2500 also sits higher.

Thanks boomyal.......can anyone else give their 2 cents?

Do you think it would be just as well to get a 1500 and install the
Edlebrock EAS? shocks? I am more concerned about ride quality over the rought terrain.

Thanks!!!
