Project: TypeKoshiR CIVIC(NEW mechanic, new pics)

Hi,
It's me again with my little project that is goin' on and on...
Previus mechanic was prolly mentally ill person deep inside and was hiding that really really good...I gave him B16A2 engine in bad condition and he said that it's no problem to fix it and tune it...but what he did was very very bad job on the engine he had to overbore the sleeves a little and buy new NA pistons but he ordered the pistons first and the overbored the sleeves and then put in the pistons unfortunally I didn't saw in what condition the sleeves were after the "hard" modiffyin' on them...He also lightened my flywheel and crankshaft but the stupid idiot didn't noticed that the crankshaft is in very bad shape I didn't saw that either and didn't know that...
so when he did his job he put the lower part of the engine together like there is nothing wrong...

Lucklly I didn't want to wait no more (he was doin' that almost 6 months)
and I drove the car to the new mechanic which discover that, when he wanted to start all from the begining...

Fucked up and dimme no worth job done on sleeves

"Proffesionally" done job on the crankshaft

So when my new mechanic saw that he said that this engine is only good to go in garbage and that the guy he put that together is very ....
Can you imagine what it would happen if the engine were fully build and runin

So I had to buy new B16A2 for my swap...
So here are new pics after my new mechanic had the engine for only one week...
What is done to the lower part of the engine:
- overbored and professionally honned sleeves
- crankshaft and flywheel lighten for more than 1.7kg then previus crankshaft and flywheel that was done by previus mechanic...and all together ballanced
- a little mod on the oil pump (higher oil pressure)

And as you'll notice the engine is in the car on the hasport + B16A mounts....

Right now this little project of mine is goin with speed of light
I'm so happy that this new mechanic really know what he's doin'
he's preapairn rally cars for almost 20years now so has a lot of experince...

And this is the site of previus mechanic
www.mmrsport.com so you'll know that we have
people too they pretend to be great mechanics with lots of experince
but in real life they are just all fucked up!

So I hope that in a week or two my engine will be fully build and runin'

Emil

Re: Project: TypeKoshiR CIVIC(NEW mechanic, new pics)

With previus mechanic we did a deal that I manadge him to get some things from USA for rally cars (ignition modules)...and for that favour that I did to him he would put my engine together...so I did bought and deliver him those parts from USA so I kept my part of the deal, but that freakin' idiot didn't kept his part odf the deal...
So fortunally I didn't gave him any money but he did get some good profit of of those parts that I deliver to him, but we didn't close that deal yet !!! :0( someone's got to pay for this and it sure won't be me ;0)

Re: Project: TypeKoshiR CIVIC(NEW mechanic, new pics)

One video of my car (with previus engine) leagal drag...The other car is Renault 5 GT(turbo) rally spec.
He beat me two times on the end of 1/8 mile cause my alternator died on the way to the scene, and I was runin' my car on batterie :0(

http://www.rrcteam-klub.si/www%20pag...ing%20RRC3.AVI

But now with new engine it has to be at least 2 times better on drag races :0)

Re: Project: TypeKoshiR CIVIC(NEW mechanic, new pics)

Today I can anounce something new
Car is almost ready the engine is fully build and all we need now is to wire all that together and start the car...
And one great news AXLES from 92' civic VTI VTEC with hydro tranny are feeling just fine in my engine bay so that means no problems with my swap...

Tranny is hydro from B16A2
Axles are also from that hydro tranny

When I saw those axles on my car I was so amaized and so happy :0)

I hope that next post in this topic will look something like this " wroom wroom "
