Cutlass help--car stuck at church

Ok... driving along on a rainy day and hit a water puddle. Turned car off and went to turn it back on and nothing but a clicking. Wondering if this is a starter/wire problem thats needs replacing or if its worse than that. Thought it was the ignition switch but all electrical things turn on. Battery is fine also. Quick help, car is stuck at a church.

Re: Cutlass help--car stuck at church

Now that the car is dry, it might work this time when you try to start it again.

You can directly connect the starter to the battery power source to see if the starter even turns over the engine.

If you don't have Electronic Ignition, there is prolly water in the distributor cap, I am not too sure but if you pull it off and dry it out, it should start. Make sure you dry the distributor out too.
