Re: Drifting in a....Go-Kart?!

It's possible. Usually, when I do go to a go-kart track, there's always big piles ups because stupid little kids hit the brakes going around the tight turns and spin out of control - as the brakes on these crappy go karts only work on the rear axel, instead of all four wheels. It's really easy to get them to slide.

Hell yea u can drift in a go kart.If you live in cali i'm sure you have heard od Malibue Speedzone. They have a "turbo" track for there 20hp go karts that you have to have a license before you can drive one. They also have a "wet" track.And...u guessed it.......so you can drift and slide everywhere. They also have mock top fuel cars you can run on a 1/8 mile track. They rule!

Yeah, those dinky ones that are in everytown USA can be made to slide. It's fun, but then you realize that they don't have to torque to power out of the slide and it usually just slows you down. But yeah, fun as hell.

check this out:
http://www.speedzone.com/

This place doesn't have the dinky carts with no power. With these cars you can pull all the way around the corner at full throttle, if you can intiate the turn properly.
