so you have a 5th gen, all you need is an OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harness, and everything will plug right in.

Re: ECU and Harness Question. Project Civic 101

The b16a2 was already in a 95 civic the check engine light was on and the seller claims it was a tps code I agreed to give back the wiring harness that was in the car in hopes of making mine work. There were 3 wires changed on the harness. Taking a break to get my mind right and will post follow up. Also while swapping I took the 134 AC parts and swapped from the r12. Keeping the link updated with what seems hourly progress...lol
2nd oxygen sensor?.........I have only 1 outlet on the header.....Where would the 2nd be?.....And since I have no provision for it suggestions????Updated pics!!!!!

Yours truly

E.Honda......

Re: ECU and Harness Question. Project Civic 101

if its an obd2 motor the secondary sensor would be further down the exhaust system. i believe on a 2000 si it would be on the cat. if its a obd1 motor there will only be the one.

Re: ECU and Harness Question. Project Civic 101

the motor was in a 2000 civic si Only had 1 oxy sensor when removed from the 95 civic organ donor.
Considering wiring up with the 93 harness, everything plugged in. Alt plug is different. Check for codes....If no codes bonus.....If codes present then address those wires in the harness pending no bsd sensors.....Suggestion
