argh! i hate deadbeat bidders (240sx possibly up for sale)

Hey everyone,
I put up my car on ebay and it gets sold. The guy claims to have the money, but I find he hasn't given me the deposit required by the ad. So I ask him why and he said the shipping costs are too high and wants to back out from the deal. So, I'm guessing for him to pay the nonrefundable deposit stated on the ad and a relisting fee isn't too unreasonable?
I do have one backup bidder that I'm trying to see if they're still interested. Is anyone interested in buyin a drivable '92 Nissan 240SX (all stock) with heavy body damage (but no frame damage) for 710 (going price of the car) as a possible project car? I'm in Baltimore, MD.

just file a non bidders complaint or something like that to get your fees refunded. I would get it if it was in cali...Good luck in the sale.

go to MD and key his car and cut his tires for ruining your auction and costing you $100 for relisting. I would say punch his nose and break it, but I dont know your physical condition.

Haha, well I'm about to depart to Army ROTC camp in 2 weeks, so I hope I'm in pretty good physical condition. I'M in Maryland, not him. He's somewhere in the Chicago area.

So, I guess my demands aren't too unreasonable? I did hear back from my backup bidder, and she (i think she's buyin it for her boyfriend) said she's still interested. I'll post again if that goes bad as well.

Yeah...if you are going to buy a freakin car you should atleast be smart enough to know what it will cost you before you buy it.

As for ROTC camp...I have been told that you should picture summer camp in BDUS. But I went to BCT so I don't know myself.
