Question iroc differences

i have been looking to buy a 3rd gen. iroc but i have had trouble finding one. what are teh differences between an iroc and a RS with a 350 put into it?? is there an upgraded suspension in the iroc?? what are the difference between them and how much would it affect the performance?

Re: iroc differences

The iroc has a better suspension and also some frame rail reinforcement. There is a post on this we had a little while ago.
Check it out...

IROC difference

Nobody mentioned that the IROC/Z-28 (third gens) all have 4 wheel disc brakes: the 1LE performance package. 2 piston calipers in the front. If you need to but new pads, expect to pay $70 for the cheapest ones. They don't mount like most brake pads.

Re: iroc differences

There werent a whole lot of 1LE cars produced so I wouldnt worry too much about them and their brakes. They basically just had corvette brakes anyways so the price shouldnt be very different. They are still common.

Re: iroc differences

Ya and stay away from the RS if you want something that will perform decently without spending any additional money on it.

Why would they unbalance the vehicle with un matching sizes ?
If the rims differ , not the factorys fault

Re: iroc differences

ohh ya,as the wife now wants to kick my ass because we need to get going, lol, but i just loooked at my camaro's rims, they are a different space i belive, because the lug nuts in the front sit in a lot farther then the ones in the back, plus, the the 16inchers that my iroc has, it say front on the front rim, and rear on the rear rims, thought i would pass then along
