Okay, maybe this is nit-picky, but......
Has anyone had trouble with the color on their radio buttons coming off?? My black buttons are quickly becoming black and white. It seems that rather than using a black button Chevy chose to spray black over a clear button. The radio really looks bad at night when the buttons are back-lit. Anyway, it would seem that this would be a warranty issue (2003 with 22K miles). My dealer seems to think this is "normal" wear. Anyone else dealt with this problem?? I'm fairly certain that I don't have caustic fingers or anything. I've never damaged my wife or kids by touching them . I don't see where my radio buttons should be any different.

Re: Radio Button - Wear
I have a 2005 Yukon Denali, I bought it new but not even 2 years after buying it the buttons on the radio started fading and wearing really bad. The good news is I found a company that has a way to make them look new without buying new buttons or whole new radio. I only spent like $20 bucks and they sent me a kit and about 20 min later my radio looked new again. Id say its worth checking out. The only problem I had was the shipping was a little expensive but its been a year since I bought from them so maybe its cheaper now?
www.nuknobs.com is where I bought the kit from Good Luck! |
