Maby just bad gas?

Well about two weeks ago I filled my car up with gas drove it around like normal and next morning it was hard to start and when it did there was a bunch of steam like smoke coming out of the exhaust, so I figured I had blown a head gasket and it was burning off antifreeze/water. Pulled the spark plugs and they were white so that further pushed the headgasket theory. I planned on fixing it in a few weeks when I get paid again so I just drove it as little as possable, did the same thing almost every time i started it up. Well I finally used all the gas and was on empty when I filled it up again and sense then it has ran fine, no smoke or anything. So I'm thinking that maby I just got some bad gas or water leaked into the tank some how? Anyone else had any problems like this?

What kind of gas did you get? Sheetz, Exxon, Shell, etc? If you get gas that's been sitting for a while, it'll do that. I've had that happen too.

Shell, same kind I ussually allways use. The Exxons around here are known for having bad gas.
